MAAX CABINETS WARRANTY

MAAX Cabinets offers the following warranty for each of its products distributed by any of its authorized retailers.
Providing normal use and maintenance, MAAX Cabinets guarantees that the product is free from any defect in workmanship, subject to the following terms and conditions.

Limited Warranty

MAAX Cabinets offers a limited warranty for 10 years from the date of purchase on cabinets, mechanisms and components which it manufactures. If a defect should be detected during that period of time, MAAX Cabinets undertakes to repair or replace the defective parts. Those repairs or modifications will be done at MAAX Cabinets's discretion if it finds them to be result of a manufacturing defect. MAAX Cabinets undertakes to repair defective door(s) and accessory(ies) after normal use with the conditions stated below.

PROCEDURE FOR WARRANTY SERVICE WORK

Warranty Procedure

The procedure for handling warranty claims in the future will be as follows:
Warranty Claims can be submitted by a Dealer or direct from a Consumer (Must be original purchaser) to MAAX.
All Claims must be submitted on MAAX Cabinets’ Customer Warranty Request Form. All information must be completed as well as all supporting documents and photos (if required) must be attached. Any claim that is incomplete will be returned and will not be processed until all information and documentation has been received.

MAAX will respond within fourteen business days of the receipt of the claim advising if the claim has been approved, rejected or if more information is required.

Exclusion of Any Other Warranty

The warranty hereby is the sole warranty given by MAAX Cabinets for the MAAX Cabinets products and no authorized MAAX Cabinets retailer nor any of its agents or employees shall be authorized to extend the present warranty on behalf of MAAX Cabinets. All other warranties either express or implied being hereby expressly excluded.

Juridiction

This warranty, its interpretation, its application, its validity and its exemption shall be governed by laws of the Province of Quebec, which govern the whole of the warranty hereby.

Replacement Policies

Providing that the following conditions are respected, MAAX Cabinets shall repair and/or replace the defective components of its products resulting from a manufacturing defect.

Door Replacement

Since wood is a natural product, the color and consistency of its grain may vary. Therefore, the appearance of the doors you have acquiered may differ from the samples seen in the store. Color and grain variations are attributed to the nature of the said product. Moreover, the use of certain methods of application and special finishes may cause possible variations in the appearance of the finished product.

These variations in the finish are acceptable standards in the kitchen and vanity manufacturing industry and are quite normal. Therfore, these variations cannot in any way justify the replacement of doors. Furthermore special finishes and certain techniques are considered artistic crftmanship and cannot show a consistency in the appication. The guarantee offered by MAAX cabinets is limited to the replacement and/or repair of the doors and does not include transportion and installation fees.

All Warranty Service Requests must be accompanied with proof of purchase and with photographs clearly depicting the defect. MAAX Cabinets Inc. reserves the right to deny any Warranty Service Request that is not in compliance with the applicable product warranty or is not supported by required documentation.
